Assistant Contracting Manager
The Position
It’s time to take your love of travel and put it to work.
As an Assistant Contracting Manager, you will provide administrative support and managerial assistance to the Contracting Manager for the successful management of the Morocco contracting function at Intrepid.
This includes liaising with operators, assisting with contract negotiation, researching alternative service providers and developing new product.
This role will also work closely with the Sales, Reservations & Operations Department to assist in the successful quoting and running of trips.
Some of the tasks you’ll support are :
Assist Contracting Manager to maintain and implement Contracting systems and processes
Help to develop new products as requested within remit and manage new developments from creation through launch for Group series and FIT product range
Negotiate yearly and/or periodic contracts with all suppliers in Morocco
Develop good working relationships with all suppliers and local operators and all brand product managers
Monitor and mentor Contracting assistants in contracting processes and product loading.
Some of the essentials you’ll have are :
A Passion for travel and broad travel experience in Morocco
Experience in contracting, pricing, sourcing and supplier management
Experience in analysis and creating reports
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
Be able to communicate in Arabic, French and English (preferably Berber)
In addition to that, you will be exceptionally organized, have solid attention to detail, and have excellent interpersonal skills across a variety of cultures.
