Job Purpose
Under supervision, performs a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. In development mode being trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes. Junior-level position following defined processes and precedents to complete assigned tasks with increasing independence specific to an area of specialty. Support the department activities on project execution.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Business Development Support:
Assists business development activities by maintaining an up to date personal profile and resume database.
Builds positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors.
Business Operations:
Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences.
Responsible for a smooth handover. Supports the delivery of training: developing the content of the training.
Should perform in the compliance with requirements and JESA internal processes.
Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues under supervision.
Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Technical Competency:
Collects input/data from administrations (representing departments, ABH, DMN, ...) for environmental impact assessment related to biophysics and socioeconomic Fields.
Knows the basic principles of environmental regulations and standards.
Able to track changes in environmental regulations and standards.
Able to follow-up KPIs related to environmental impacts.
Able to identify and collect environmental and social data and enter it on the system/software (ArcGIS, ADMS, etc.).
Able to detect noncompliances related to the Environmental Management System through predefined procedures and report to his supervisor.
Able to write part of a report clearly and simply according to a predefined framework and JESA's graphic charter.
Project Execution:
Working under close supervision, knows the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations, and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure project success.
Implements innovative solutions, technology advances, and methods to effectively deal with working out of sequence.
May support the management of project change and progress for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability.
Plans discipline quality, monitors quality activities, drives and participates in squad checking depending on the size of the project, recommends improvements, and takes action where required.

Project Deliverables:
Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares reports, regarding environmental assessment, regulations and standards, technical data, site's and project's characteristics.
May assist the project team in order to select the best technical alternatives and participate in the justification of the techniques's or site's choice.
Monitoring of environmental measures.
Prepares and submits documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues customer approval.
May review similar documentation to assist others.
Procurement Support:
Incorporates information from multiple sources into technical propositions.
Assists to elaborate the technical specifications, bid clarifications, bid evaluations.
May review similar documentation to assist others.
Site Support:
Seeks input from knowledgeable sources, may participate in constructability.
Provides environmental monitoring during the construction phase by working closely with the HSE's project manager and draws up reports.
Works with site personnel to resolve issues from the office and site.
May propose environment measures that support construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, or decommissioning. may conduct necessary site visits as part of assigned work.
Education
Awarded a 4 or 5 year technical degree in science or engineering. Will be actively licensed with a local engineering governing body where required by law.
