Job Purpose
The Associate Water Resources Engineer/Specialist has a basic knowledge of hydrology and hydrogeology and can perform field measurements (flow rates, piezometry, etc.). They are also supposed to write mission notes and calculation notes and handle modeling software meanwhile having the basics of hydraulic dimensioning.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Participation in the collection and analysis of basic data according to their nature
Contribution to field and measurement missions
Calculation of water needs and resources balances calculation
Interpretation of pumping tests and hydrogeological borehole logs
Development of calculation notes in Excel
Verification of plans and calculation data
Participation in the establishment of solution plans in feasibility studies
Preparation of PPT presentations as needed
Participation in the preparation of Excel spreadsheets for the specific needs of the study
Observation of all company Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental commercial, and project management disciplines and procedures, as relevant to tasks undertaken
Education
Bac +5 or more
Curricula: Hydrologist, Hydrogeologist or Rural Engineering
