CAD ENGINEER (DESIGNER)

We are looking for a CAD Engineer within Morocco 2, who will be responsible of Studying and developing in partnership with the customer for one or more product families, while ensuring that customer’s objectives are respected. The incumbent of the position will ensure the follow-up of his product(s), from initialization to industrialization. He will master the Q, C, D, P aspects of his products family.
Your Role:
As a CAD Engineer you will be in charge of these various accountabilities:
Collect input data (schemes, electrical function sheets,...) within the Customer’s Register ;
Define the bundle architecture (connectors, wires, insulator) and the wiring routes with the project team
Produce the industrial CAO drawings for the wiring family for which he is responsible ;
Ensure Q, C, D reporting ;
Participate actively in internal and external meetings concerning the product and the process (mock-ups, dashboards, quality meetings, validation of factory assembly) ;
Analyze internal/external quality and technical issues related to design ;
Study the technical and economical solution’s feasibility ;
Receive the customer’s modification request (engineering modification), translate it and distribute it to the plant ;
Quantify the family and the customer modifications (engineering modification).
Assure the distribution of customer requests and the application of modifications in the plant ;
Optimize the engineering process by respecting customer procedures ;
Study and develop a cabling family by ensuring compliance with customer objectives in terms of specifications, deadlines, costs and quality ;
Manage the technical product’s evolution during the development phase and during the serial life ;
Ensure the feasibility of the product with the support of the plant’s pilot
Ensure coordination meetings between the plant engineering team and SC for the family you are in charge of
Report periodically on the progress of the activity and the problems encountered ;
Participate in the management and implementation of cost reduction changes in accordance with the continuous improvement and 6 Sigma approach ;
Your Background:
BAC+5 / Engineering degree in industrial engineering, electromechanics, mechatronics, mechanics (or equivalent), freshly graduated or with 1 year experience in the Automotive Industry or similar position.
Advanced English is Mandatory
