Role Overview:
As a Chemist specializing in Fuel Blending and JET processes, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the consistent quality, performance, and compliance of our fuel products. You will be responsible for overseeing fuel blending processes, optimizing formulations, and contributing to the development of cutting-edge energy solutions. Your knowledge of JET fuel specifications and standards will be crucial in maintaining our high standards of aviation fuel quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Fuel Blending Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of fuel blending techniques and formulation optimization to create high-quality fuel products that meet regulatory standards and customer requirements.
JET Fuel Specialization: Demonstrate proficiency in JET fuel specifications, standards, and quality control processes to ensure our aviation fuel products meet rigorous industry requirements.
Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance procedures, including testing, analysis, and documentation, to ensure all fuel products adhere to established quality standards.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction within the blending and JET fuel production processes.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and guidelines related to fuel blending, JET fuel, and aviation fuel quality. Ensure all products and processes adhere to these standards.
Research and Development: Contribute to research and development efforts focused on fuel innovation, alternative energy sources, and sustainability initiatives to keep our organization at the forefront of the industry.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on fuel quality, blending processes, and JET fuel performance. Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders within the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in fuel blending, with a deep understanding of blending techniques, fuel properties, and formulation optimization.
Expertise in JET fuel specifications, standards, and quality control processes is essential.
Previous experience in the energy, oil, or aviation industry is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, coupled with proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment.
Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines related to fuel quality, blending, and aviation fuel.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information.
Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Self-motivated and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic or French is a plus
