About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Expert Data Engineer to join on a freelance part time basis. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the technical qualification of candidates identified by our client’s internal teams.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal teams to understand the technical requirements and profiles of identified candidates.
Conduct detailed technical assessments and interviews to evaluate candidates' expertise in data engineering and related AI technologies.
Provide structured feedback and recommendations on candidates' suitability for specific roles.
Contribute to refining technical evaluation criteria and processes to ensure alignment with the goals of the new DATA AI entity.
Support knowledge transfer and technical documentation to help streamline future recruitment efforts.

Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures.
Expertise in modern data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Python, SQL, cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure).
Strong understanding of AI/ML workflows and their integration with data engineering processes.
Experience conducting technical interviews and assessing technical competencies.
Excellent communication and reporting skills to provide clear feedback to internal teams.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in supporting recruitment or candidate assessment for technical roles.
Familiarity with emerging trends and technologies in Data Engineering and AI.
