Freelance OCI Cloud Engineer (Identity and Access Management) - Qatar
Context:
We are seeking an OCI Cloud Engineer for a project focused on configuring and optimizing identity and access services within an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. This mission requires 8 weeks of on-site presence at the client's location in Qatar.
Duration: 8 weeks on-site requirement
Location: Client premises in Qatar
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage OCI Identity Domains for enterprise SSO integration
Implement and troubleshoot SAML-based SSO between OCI and external identity providers
Define IAM policies and group structures aligned with RBAC models
Resolve authentication and federation issues
Provide technical support and optimize OCI configurations
Required Profile:
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Technical expertise in OCI services: Compute, Networking, Storage, IAM, and Identity Domains
Practical experience in SSO configuration and identity federation (SAML 2.0, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
Proficiency in integration with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), ADFS, or other identity providers
Knowledge of hybrid identity synchronization between on-premise Active Directory and OCI IAM
Experience in network configuration (routing, VPN, OCI FastConnect)
Preferred Certifications:
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate
Microsoft Entra ID Administrator Associate (optional)
Additional Assets:
Previous experience in identity migration projects to OCI
Ability to document architectures and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy
