Position overview:
As a GL Supervisor, you will lead the accounting aspects and manage all transactions related to the accountant service.
Main missions:
Accounting management
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
Establish and enforce the proper accounting norms, policies, and principles. Improve the process. Coordinate and solve technical issues.
Coordinate and complete all types of audits (Internal or External Audits).
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Analyze all balance sheet accounts.
Ensure the monthly close respecting the deadlines.
Elaborate closing operations and accounts reconciliations.
Prepare and complete the close binder.
Lead and manage the accounting team.
Ensure daily follow-up with SCC AP/AR Team: KPI, performance
Weekly review with Plant Controller on GRNI & Aging analysis.
Supervise Non prod AP activities
Supervise and review the Vendors reconciliations are done on time (quarterly)
Ensure VAT declarations and refunds with Tax administration, VAT reconciliations, and all Tax declarations
Fixed Asset QAD module management, assets accounting, and follow-up
Follow-up of Asset tagging and mapping
Asset register reconciliation to General Ledger/HFM
Reporting
Provide the controlling team with needed reports for forecasts and budget
Help and support the finance manager on country tasks
Collaborate with Tax manager for financial statement and Tax return establishment
Key skills and qualifications:
High degree in Accounting/Finance/Management
Spirit of analysis
Good financial knowledge
Ability to prioritize work
Coordination of multifunctional teams
3-5 years in accounting/finance/management
Good level of French and English, spoken and written
