A great new opportunity has opened up to join our HR Global Business Service as Generalist.
As HR GBS Generalist, you will act as the first point of contact for Employees and Managers with HR policy and process inquiries that could not be resolved via Employee/Manager self-service.
In addition, you will identify appropriate actions in response to inquiries by answering employees’ inquiries, educating associates about the knowledge management system, or routing them to the appropriate individual while tracking all customer contact in the service management database.
You will have the chance to support HR GBS teams on all processes: recruitment, Data Management, Total Rewards, and Time & Attendance.
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to) :
Service Delivery & Customer Service Excellence
Responds to, documents, resolves, and escalates general HR issues and inquiries as needed; record and track all customer calls in the internal Case Management System and ensure resolution
Works within established policies, procedures, and performance criteria to provide resolution to inquiries in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
Determines when to transfer/escalate an employee’s call and/or case ticket (via the internal case management system) to another team member, Tier 2 or HRBP/ CoI
Achieves performance measures and adheres to established customer service standards and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Manages cases (e.g., open, tracking, closeout, follow up) and maintains general HR portal content (e.g., HR policies, FAQs, process training material)
Recruiting & Staffing General Inquiry Support
Opens requisitions and validates requisition information and required documentation provided
Coordinates interview logistics and travel arrangements (for candidates that require travel)
Main point of contact for new hires regarding the new hire administrative process
Employee Data Management & Reporting General Inquiry Support
Maintains and supports basic employee data transactions (including employee access
Maintains and updates standard report library
Performs data entry into appropriate systems
Verifies, approve, and process requests for HR system access and changes
Total Rewards General Inquiry Support
Responds to questions on total rewards / compensation plan and policy & 3rd party contacts
Time & Attendance General Inquiry Support
Intakes and resolves basic inquiries around time & attendance tracking/ balances, system transactions outages and planned maintenance, etc.
Verifies and audits employee data, and resolves any discrepancies (Employee Profiles)
Continuous Improvement & Career Development
Identifies opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations to improve the cost, quality, and timeliness of service delivery
Champions and facilitates change to ensure long-term sustainability; adapts successfully to changing needs while maintaining positive relationships with stakeholder
To be successful in this role:
Minimum of 1 year experience in HR
Service or Call Center experience preferred
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
Previous Experience with SAP
Ability to handle confidential / sensitive data with discretion
Maintains composure with professional etiquette in supporting and resolving customer challenges
Practices attentive listening; communicates clearly; demonstrates patience
Committed to continuous improvement and attention to detail
Learns quickly
Fluent in French & English
