As a Laboratory Technician, you will provide professional support to enforce the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements throughout all functions of the value chain in order to continuously improve in the pursuit of zero defect. Specialists are competent in one of the following disciplines: systems/NQMS, food safety/HACCP, auditing, hygiene, pest control, product quality, packaging, chemistry, microbiology, sensory or net weight content
A day in the life of...
Contribute to the development of competence of quality professionals across the organization to develop the level of contribution of each subordinate and improve their performance.
Define and update the specific quality procedures, instruction and tools which are directly related to your area of concern.
Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect, including root cause analysis after incidents.
Support the delivery of training for your specific areas of concern to the required operating units to ensure the full comprehending of Nestle instructions
Perform analytical activities: physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of raw materials, halb, FP, process water and utilities according to applicable standards and report results on SAP.
Implement new analytical methods and Launch rapid methods after statistical validation.
Ensure validation, verification, and monitoring activities for analytical methods.
Ensure preparations of chemical reagents for central laboratory, utilities laboratory and lines laboratories.
Define and execute control plans for equipment and methods.
Maintain and ensure inventory of chemicals and materials as per defined frequency.
Manage purchasing orders of chemicals and materials.
Ensure implementation and update of SHE risks studies (IDER & AES).
Coordinate new equipment installation or equipment repair with suppliers
What will make you successful
Bac+2/+3 in chemistry, microbiology, or equivalent education profile.
Practical experience in a similar position.
Able to implement any new analysis method.
Good command of written English.
