Position Overview
The candidate will work together with a multi-disciplinary group to ensure top performance on our wind farms. We are looking for Lead Technician to join the team to direct the activities carried out by resources at a large facility under their responsibility, with the main objective of ensuring that the operations are carried out in a safe and productive manner to guarantee the performance of the projects and in turn fulfilling contractual agreements with clients.

Responsibilities:
Site level support to the Service Operation Manager (SOM).
Coordinates site technicians and contractors before and during execution of work.
Leading Safety/Quality Culture onsite.
Assure the site level team is working safely, performing the work according to the work instructions, and working efficiently.
Report any Health. Safety, & Environmental (HSE), Quality etc. violations to the SOM immediately.
Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes, and procedures, for all site operations assigned and drive continuous process improvements.
Hold overall responsibility for site performance
Monitor service on time and maintenance wind turbines according to plan.
Troubleshooting (Unscheduled incidents at Windfarms), First level support resolving issues that arise during operation
Technical Assistance to the Maintenance Team
Prepare plan of the day (POD) and dispatching assigned tasks to the team, in close communication with the Ressource planner and SOM.
Control and closing of executed Service orders (SO), report deviations to work orders , checklists (ZCH), Records and incidents
Ensure site level day to day communication and reporting with the customer.
Agree downtime allocations with customer as per the contract.
Assure timely submittal of all required documentation (service checklists, retrofits/upgrade documentation, work orders, time sheets, expense reports, etc.).
Escalate technical issues to the SOM, or directly communicate with Field support, first and second level support teams.
Gather information for incident investigation
Supports the short term planning within next 30 days
Perform site inventory as required.
Order consumables and other office supplies, as needed or as directed by the SOM.
Assure proper packaging etc. of parts to be shipped off site.
Support the SOM in performance reviews for technicians
Training assessments (technical and non-technical)

Minimum 3+ years wind experience
Experience leading a team
Proficiency in Microsoft software suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Ability to climb to heights up to 130m
Driving is an essential function of the job and applicants must have a valid driver's license at the time of application with an acceptable driving record. Employees must maintain a valid license
