Position overview:
Our future Maintenance & Facilities Supervisor will be responsible for Maintaining all Lear CS installations and equipment in safe and optimal operating conditions. Supervising and leading all maintenance processes & operations and managing the daily operations of the maintenance department, and ensuring compliance, safety, and best practices for corrective and preventative activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining all machinery at working standards
Ensuring the availability of necessary tools and equipment
Creating maintenance schedules and delegating tasks to team members
Creating preventive maintenance procedures and checklists
Documenting and preparing daily progress reports
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation
Hiring and training maintenance staff
Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies
Forecasting and ordering of spare parts inventory
Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
Checking electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Create a culture of safety by educating employees on safety standards and expectations and the safe operation of equipment
Supervising maintenance workers and ensuring they follow safe work practices
Key skills and Qualifications:
Bac+5 in mechanical / electrical / Industrial engineering
Minimum 3 years in the same position / Automotive industry
Experience in maintenance operations
Experience in team management
Solid understanding of technical aspects
Working knowledge of machines and equipment
Understanding of mechanical power transmission and electrical power, mechanical and electrical design
Knowledge of plastic Injection activity
Good Communication & Spirit of analysis/synthesis
High level of English & French languages, spoken and written
