Context
Orange Cyberdefense has subcontracted a series of services to Orange Cyberdefense, on the international footprint with the aim to rely on the global service delivery capabilities of Orange Business as per its dedicated unit called Cyber Support Unit (CSU) and more specifically in Morocco.
Orange Cyberdefense (OCD) with a turnover of more than €977 million in 2022 and annual growth beyond 14 is one of the main European players in the market.
OCD support companies and administrations in the design of their cybersecurity strategies, their implementation and their operational management. Orange Cyberdefense offer local operations 24/7/365 in 19 locations a CERT continuously operating across 8 locations and sales and service support in 160 countries
Orange Cyberdefense is developing its Middle East and Africa activities out of Casablanca, Morocco which extends to Western Africa and Maghreb (OMEA).
Role
The Managing Director (MD) will play a leading role within the Cyber Security Business development and will report hierarchically within OB Cyber Support Unit and functionally to OCD VP Cluster France & Morocco.
The (MD) will lead and continue to build a business focused on cybersecurity services covering Morocco and Western Africa. He/she will be accountable for developing a unified culture across this business and Region.
The MD and his/her team collaborate closely with our Orange Business Channel and Orange Morocco. The scope extends to Orange Middle East & Africa (OMEA) all said and done.
The MD will ensure customer-centric approach, putting the customer at the heart of what the business does.
One major role of this person will be to identify new market segments and new opportunities to build the business across OMEA. The MD will have to support and accelerate Orange Cyberdefense market share and strive for growth in Morocco and beyond.
He/she leads the business and has accountability for developing and implementing the Cyber Security Business strategy and business plan. Working closely with the leadership team, he/she will bring exceptional operational and commercial thinking, judgement and influencing skills to develop, sell and implement solutions that deliver true value to the customer base.
Furthermore, there is a crucial Operations role to play with integration services, audit, consulting with OMEA and on a nearshoring basis. As such (MD) is accountable to delivers services to its customers base and of the quality of nearshored cyber security service toward OCD France.
The job holder has the prime responsibility for the preparation and subsequent delivery of the budget and the sales and profit expectations of the businesses.
Successfully leads and develops a team of approximatively 60 experts & coordinates them across his/her business. Key internal challenges are:

add more processes, structure, and rigor to the organization by completing the shift from a pragmatic and entrepreneurial organization to a more integrated international organization, which is expected by customers to create a push in (managed) security services and solutions.
To align the business and the teams with OMEA countries and global roles that can support the transformation needed, creating a light matrix organization without endangering the specific approach and culture needed for an organization to be a leader in its local market.
Key responsibilities
Deliver Margin, Revenue and budgets to or above plan
Develop and execute a growth strategy for the business in both existing and new market segments
Act as figurehead for Orange, ensuring Cyberdefense is positioned as a market leader; including building personal relationships with key customers
Identify and manage Sales pipeline - in line with sales governance requirements
Orchestrate and oversee day-to-day operations to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency
Ensure all budget and cost targets are met and any variances to plan are flagged in advance with corresponding solutions
Ensure Orange Cyberdefense development and implementation meets customer needs and delivers functionality that adds value in the market
Ensure Product and Marketing & Development of Cyber Security Business is managed to plan and budget
Provide leadership within the business, ensure development and support of team members
Define and direct the marketing requirements for Cyber Security Business in scope
Play a leading role in securing new customers for the business
Responsible for the creation and management of Partnerships for Cyber Security Business in scope
Effectively work with corporate functions to ensure reported are accurate and timely
Create, manage and develop financial budgets in liaison with the CFO on an ongoing basis
Hire, train, assess and terminate staff in liaison with HR Morocco Orange Business
Travel to different locations within his/her Region and in FranceManage operational teams based in Morocco delivering Cyber Security Business in scope (MEA and French base delegated)

Has experience for a cybersecurity company and therefore industry – with a strong track record of delivering EBITDA and Revenue growth
Is a tech at heart
Experience of successfully operating within an international business and especially in Morocco and MEA.
Strategic orientation; will intuitively understand how markets fit together; must know how to use competitive market intelligence strategically and tactically,
Strong leadership credentials with a bottom-line orientation – will understand that running a fast-growing software and technology services business requires constant attention to cash flow; will make smart, analytically-sound decisions based on return on investment and profit potential
Operational expertise; will have the ability to keenly lead the effort to improve processes, eliminate errors, develop and measure performance metrics, increase revenues, drive down costs, and improve customer satisfaction and delivery levels
Financial acumen; be completely comfortable with the numbers, able to understand balance sheet and make sound commercial decisions as a result
Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and to frame a value proposition for customers
People Leadership; a proven track record in leading and motivating teams to deliver customer centric outcomes. Ensures that employees feel part of a vision and a project to be the largest and most forward-thinking security player, and to achieve continuous growth.
- Continuously aligns with the African countries, other clusters, and the global roles to keep stakeholders informed and involved, feels at home in an international matrix.
- Is persuasive and assertive in his contact with all his stakeholders: operations, customers, countries, clusters, and all Orange staff.
Strong market / client presence; ability to effectively communicate core messages and demonstrate thought leadership with high-profile clients and industry events
The ability to drive change and make tough decisions where needed
Ability to build strong and sustainable relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Proven track record of success in positions of senior leadership and influence with experience of building, leading and inspiring strong effective teams
Must be able to operate in complex matrix business environments
Have successfully worked in both large corporates and small businesses
French, Arabic and English languages are mandatory
