Job Purpose
Has the responsibility for the planning, controlling and managing the group of all the efforts necessary to ensure that the correct quality and quantity of materials and equipment are properly delivered in a timely manner. They must also obtain field purchased materials at a reasonable cost and most importantly, ensure availability at the point of use when required.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Manage efficiently the team resources (Expeditors, Inspectors, Logistic and Material Receiving and warehousing...) dedicated to the project Under Material Management department
Develop under the Project Execution Plan, the project Expediting, Inspection, Logistics and Material Receiving and Warehousing plans, Staffing Plan and Material Management Plan, …
Set-up of JMMS and process of work for expediting, logistics, inspection and warehousing.
For dedicated project, be the Link between the procurement, engineering and post order department. Collect information concerning material deliveries, modification and change order if any; spread information to project management and construction team
Maintain the Company’s corporate HSE spirit at his working place, ensure people working under his responsibility respect the rules and have sufficient knowledge for the tasks to be executed.
Keep material delivery status and expediting schedule updated jointly with logistics and procurement department. Follows up import, export, transit, dispatch and transport customs document;
Education
Industrial engineer or equivalent
Curricula: Mechanical, Industrial or equivalent Engineer
