Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Coordinator will report to the ME Manager of Aptiv Morocco, he/she will coordinate, lead, monitor and control all activities related to the definition and updating of production methods and the continuous improvement of production processes. The ME coordinator will be responsible for the development, support and promotion of the site's continuous improvement strategy.
Your Role:
As a ME coordinator, your tasks will include but will not be limited to:
Ensure good coordination between manufacturing engineering stakeholders including method engineering team and engineering changes team
Contribute to the analysis of engineering changes, defining their impact on the assembly method and the capacity of equipment in production in the assembly area, within the time interval required by the customer
Manage and propose adapted and realistic solutions for the improvement of systems by redesigning or modifying production flows and methods
Act as an agent of change in the transformation process by introducing the culture of continuous improvement to the multidisciplinary team
Supervise and ensure the regular dissemination of the various reports related to the continuous improvement of the entire project
Your Background:
A master's degree or an engineering diploma in industrial engineering or industrial management or equivalent with a minimum of three years of experience in the automotive industry
Knowledge in electromechanics, mechanics and project management
Team management and leadership skills
Strong analytical problem solving skills
