Responsibilities
Design and deliver Orange CDN services & evolutions
Ø Qualify and assess CDN evolutions, such as new features or various customizations, compatibilities between components, software or hardware, in laboratory environment or pre-production platforms;
Ø Design various CDN solutions, using available hardware and software components and based on customers’ specifications & requirements;
Ø Produce & keep-up-date engineering documents for use by operational teams for various activities: implementations, configuration changes, software upgrades, CDN component deployments, etc.;
Ø Follow-up with CDN operational teams and CDN technology vendor(s) on implementation of architectures and designs, and report on progress to Business Unit interlocutors (service delivery managers, marketing, etc.);
Ø Manage upgrade, migration, release and other changes, supporting and improving processes by operational teams when realizing these evolutions on production platforms;
Ø Produce CDN documents relative to various external interfaces, where and when needed.
Contribute to increasing operational efficiency / industrialization
Ø Contribute to enabling service rollout automation;
Ø Contribute to the industrialization of operational & business ICT tools;
Ø Contribute to leveraging data/logs for deriving operational and business value.
Contribute to enriching Orange CDN offers’ value proposition
Ø Contribute to CDN roadmap evolutions, according to Orange strategy & business ambitions.

YOUR Profile
Technical skills
Ø Good understanding of IP networking fundamentals (IP/routing, TCP/UDP/ICMP, DNS, ntp…);
Ø Good understanding of web architecture & protocols (http, https…);
Ø Good experience with Linux configuration and operation;
Ø Basic understanding of computer technics and systems; hands-on experience appreciated;
Ø Basic knowledge of cloud environment & virtualization (VMs, containers);
Ø Elementary understanding of software development (notably Python) and scripting;
Ø Elementary understanding of ICT Project Management and ITIL/ITSM concepts;
Ø Knowledge of any CDN, video streaming protocols and related technology solutions would be greatly appreciated;
Ø Knowledge of databases, storage & big data (e.g. Hadoop clusters, Elastic search, Kafka, Cockroach, Grafana…) would be appreciated;
Ø Knowledge of monitoring tools (witbe…) would be appreciated;
Ø Knowledge of ICT system & network security principles and concepts would be appreciated;
Ø Knowledge of Agile principles, SCRUM, CI/CD & DevOps frameworks would be appreciated.
Soft skills
Ø Advanced knowledge of English language;
Ø Knowledge of French or other languages to be considered advantageous;
Ø Team working; good interpersonal skills; contact-over-conflict preference;
