Position overview:
As Supplier Core PAPP Manager, you will be in charge of managing Supplier Core PPAP submission and review activities E-Systems globally to assure flawless customer launches and meeting programs supplier milestone dates as well as managing the Supplier Core PPAP team by selecting, developing and retaining talent
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Core PPAP documentation Quality review and approval of E-Systems Low impact Components within the Lear defined business applications (PH, SEM…) according to the Supplier Core PPAP Process
To achieve 100% Supplier Core PPAP closure on time according to the timing defined by the program team
Monitor and report progress of Supplier Core PPAP submissions and approval status
Ensure 100% Annual layout submission and closure
Monitor and report progress of Supplier Annual Layout status
Escalate to the program team any risk of not meeting the Supplier Core PPAP timing
Ensure that Suppler Core PPAP Process conforms to IATF, customer and internal requirements
Coordinate ongoing business application development in SEM, Profile and LearPro
Periodically request and conduct meeting with suppliers to review PPAP status and drive roadmap actions to improve PPAP performance
Ensure no duplication of Core PPAP submissions
Develop Supplier Core PPAP review team competency in reviewing and approving PPAP of the different supplier commodities
Document and report back within the Lear defined business applications (PH,SEM…) findings, comments and results of the Supplier Core PPAP documentation Quality review
Key skills and Qualifications:
5 years of experience in a similar position within automotive
Experience building and leading a team
5 years’ experience in a full cycle quality position
Great Communication skills
Fluent English written and spoken
