Job Purpose
Project Delivery System Administration Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining an efficient and standardized approach to project delivery system administration, in alignment with applicable norms and EMS guidance. This role involves setting standards for system usage at the project level, including configuration and integration architecture. Additionally, the manager leads the System Administration team and collaborates with various stakeholders to support project execution from a digital perspective, ultimately enhancing JESA’s productivity and competitiveness.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Roadmap and Methodology Development: Contribute to the digitalization roadmap for Project Delivery Systems (PDS) and establish a clear methodology for communicating system catalogs and user guides.
Department Administration: Oversee departmental tool administration, providing guidance on technical and business challenges, managing workload, staffing plans, and reviewing deliverables.
System Implementation: Ensure projects align with PDS standard architecture throughout the lifecycle, supporting digital goals and monitoring system performance, adoption, and updates.
Staffing and Team Management: Determine staffing needs, manage resource mobilization, and foster a positive team culture. Lead and develop a strong system administration team, focusing on talent growth.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Improvement: Work with departments to align digital efforts with needs, promote continuous improvement, and develop audit strategies for system compliance.
Vendor Management and Risk Mitigation: Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve critical issues, forecast infrastructure needs, and develop risk mitigation strategies, including disaster recovery plans.
Budget Management: Manage and optimize the system administration budget, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget adherence. Facilitate communication with PMs to include man-hour estimates in project budgets.
Education
Education (Bachelor/Master/PhD): Engineering degree Bac +5 or equivalent
Curricula (Arts, Sciences,…): Architecture/ Engineering
Global Experience
Global Experience (number of years): 8 to 10 years
Specific Experience in the position
More than 7 years of working experience with Project delivery technologies
Ability to demonstrate managerial experience in real projects
