We are recruiting a PFMEA Engineer - English Speaker
Missions :
The PFMEA Engineer will apply the principles of engineering, physics and materials science for the design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of manufacturing systems. This will include the application of engineering concepts to the optimization of equipment, procedures, and departmental budgets to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
The primary role of the mechanical engineer is to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations.
Track the production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets, then find ways to reduce those losses or high costs.
Manage risk to the achievement of an organization’s strategic objectives in the areas of environmental health and safety, asset capability, quality and production
Supports development of new product, assuring quality aspects are accounted for and attainable.
Identifies and reports quality problems, trends via industry standard quality methods, tools.
Participates in the resolution to identified quality problems and trends.
Recommends or participates in the determination of Root Cause of suspect part via industry standards method and tools.
Recommends or participates in the implementation of appropriate corrective actions to address root cause of suspect parts.
Participates in development of all documentation related to product quality, such as, product prints, tolerance stack analysis, test procedures, DFMEA, process flow, PFMEA, control plans, standard operating procedures, operating control records assuring product quality is met against customers key product characteristics.
Defines, develops and maintains incoming inspection records.
Evaluates nonconforming material and initiates supplier containment and corrective actions with Materials Department. Documents quality issues and trends/establishes prioritized improvement plant
Notifies management of nonconforming product.
Ensures that process changes meet customer requirements. Responsible for updating quality documentation and completing required documentation for customer approval (PPAP, ISIR...)
Assists in the selection of appropriate process controls, defining requirements for data collection, analysis and corrective action.

Experience in Automotive Engineering is a MUST
Knowledge of Quality Management
Knowledge of FMEA methodology and implementation
Fluency in English language

Bac+5 et plus
