Position overview:
Reporting directly to the production manager. the main responsibility will be to oversee and manage production-related activities, such as scheduling, quality control, safety, and employee relations, to meet production and quality targets. In your area of production, with a high level of energy and passion for satisfying customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the recruitment plan according to the milestones and project phases.
Coordinate and stimulate the development of human and technical resources in accordance with the production program.
Plan short- and long-term resources
Define the needs for human and material resources
Participate in the development of the training plan and the definition of possible staff promotions.
Analyze the results of the workshop daily, and ensure that corrective actions to resolve discrepancies are effective
Ensure the execution of the daily and weekly production program.
Assist supervisors in their work, maintain daily follow-up with them
Control production results
Analyze established production programs and study the implementation capacity
Analyze statistics and ratios to prevent and improve performance
Establish corrective action plans in the event of deviations.
Participate in cost reduction and continuous improvement.
Gather the different indicators concerning Safety, quality, production, absenteeism, turnover, costs, scrap, 5S, and inventory level.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Engineering degree
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position
Experience with production, Lean, Six Sigma, and Best Practices
Good Communication skills at all levels
Solid knowledge of management items
Team management skills
Ability to prioritize work
Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
