Job Purpose
The role of the Project Delivery Information Manager is to promote optimized project delivery through its lifecycle. As an active and visible promoter of the use of integrated, cost-effective, and appropriate technology to facilitate core business practices, the Project Delivery Information Manager provides effective communication of accurate data, documents, and information within a project environment utilizing specified applications, systems technology and tools, to deliver Project life cycle information management following Customer requirements.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Uses knowledge of the general application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards to perform support of the Project Manager to meet the client and project expectations
Ensure the whole project team understands, supports, and adheres to the Information Management Plan and Strategy.
Ensure the setup of a new project with the appropriate catalog database, schemas, and creation of users/group account
Ensure project awareness of procedures and policies related to systems are fully understood by all project participants.
Responsible for producing applicable Project Information Management execution and Implementation plans and documents.
Coordination of Project Delivery Systems used by the various departments and disciplines for the execution of the project, including CAD, Engineering Document Management (EDMS) and Data Management Systems, Engineering Design Systems, Project Systems, and Information Management (data integration, warehousing, and handover).
Provide all project personnel including the customer with a single point of contact for all Systems and services.
Facilitate project systems closeout and data handover.
Holds ultimate responsibility for the selection of software to best meet project objectives, development of the overall project systems roadmap with system interfaces, implementation of project systems, and championing the project Information Management strategy, including implementation planning, delivery, management, and support to ensure project and customer requirements are met.
Expected to be an active participant in the Sales process, identifying digital scope and recommending system deployments that are fit-for-purpose.
