SAP Functional Analyst - PP/QM

SAP Functional Analyst – PP/QM leads the activities of implementing SAP and related application solutions and functionalities which effectively support all LEAR Divisions in Europe. The role entails knowledge and experience in the full SAP project life cycle methodology, including blueprinting and GAP analysis, configuration, technical specifications, documentation, testing, training, deployment, and stabilization & hyper-care support. This role is a senior cross-functional position that supports a full range of end to end business processes.
SAP Functional Analyst is responsible for design and management of the EU SAP templates / customization for all aspects of the production planning solutions, with the objective of standardizing processes, maximizing efficiency and to minimizing future changes and developments (for the full PTP functionality). This includes (but not limited to) creation of the AS IS documentation following reviews with plant and central teams, drafting of the related BBP documents and presentation to the plant teams and KUs. SAP Functional Analyst is also responsible for management of the associated gaps list and initial creation of the associated RFCs (Request For Change) and FTDS (Function & Technical Design Solution) and approval and testing of the delivered solutions.
Secondly, the PP/QM SAP Functional Analyst is also responsible for control and management of the enhancement requests coming from the plant already running SAP to be in line with the long-term EU SAP template strategy and liaising with both the plant teams to deliver required improvements on time and in line with customer requirements. He/she will also act as 3rd level Production Support in case of critical incident raised by the plant.
Required Skills:
Min. 3 years of experience with SAP PP, QM in a project environment.
High Experience with SAP Production Planning implementation along with its integration with other modules such as FICO, IM and WM.
Advanced knowledge in Material Resource Planning (MRP).
Experience of Production Planning in the automotive industry is a huge advantage.
Advanced knowledge of JIT Call backflush processing and experience in working in JIT environment is a plus.
Experience with SAP Quality Management implementation along with its integration with other modules such as SD, MM and PP.
Good knowledge of the SAP PP/QM module inclusive customizing and functional & technical design & specifications of enhancements.
Knowledge of SAP workbench, LSMW and IDOC-processing.
Ability to support developers to complete interfaces to supporting applications and test import/ export data for confirmation of SAP treatment/ impacts.
Experience in data migration and control.
Basic knowledge of MM module and Inventory management.
Basic knowledge of WM module and data elements.

Ability to adapt communication according to the audience (business and technical).
Ability to interact strongly with the business teams to identify and manage/ control required changes and with the development team in technical configuration to adapt to business process improvements.

Autonomous, ability to progress and deliver results by yourself and drive solutions/ completion to deadline.
Ability to relate future direction of the organization while designing solutions and managing change.
Very good written and verbal English communication skills.
Essential functions:
Support the SAP template solution being developed and implemented in Europe and support developments for delivery and testing in line with the EU template and customer requirements.
Drive and control the planning and implementation of new and modified solutions to support the PP/QM and JIT functional end to end processes.
Document the relevant business processes for each stage of the change management process.
Protect and ensure the integrity of the LEAR business processes within the SAP template solution.
Manage own work within the project team and ensure consistency and communication
Participate in the analysis and design of the SAP rollout solutions as it relates to QM and PP functional areas.
Coordinate activities with other SAP team members
Working conditions:
Travel will be expected when required to produce a successful SAP launch. (Estimated -30 Percent).
