Job Purpose
Able to conduct a complex geological and geotechnical study
Propose integrated solutions; make and validate technical plans, design layouts, and written reports together with the engineers; share his/her expertise with the teams and conduct a designer team for technical tasks
Carry out independently tasks with respect to the time, budget, and required quality performance in the production of engineering design solutions in accordance with project objectives and requirements
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Pilot studies
Reverify the compliance to the specification and execution plan
Analyze customer's requests and propose solutions, makes matrix analysis of different technical solutions and advice for the best option
Validate detailed designs, plans done by designers. Make complex designs (execution designs based on calculation notes).
Participate to technical meetings internally and with customers
Write the contractual written studies/reports
Develop the technical skills of the engineers and technicians team
Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues, partners and clients, and contribute to the marketing of the company to potential customers
Task force to decide in decision-making for complex studies
Preparation of technical and financial proposals in response to calls for tenders or orders
Observation of all company Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental commercial and project management disciplines and procedures, as relevant to tasks undertaken
Education
Bac +5 or more
Curricula: Geology, Geotechnical and Civil Engineering
