Job Purpose
Responsible for the Group's tax compliance with local tax entities where JESA and its subsidiaries currently operate or plan to operate in the future (in Africa or elsewhere). Responsible for managing the relationship with the tax administration, the exchange office, other organizations and consultants and external advisers. Responsible for identifying and optimizing exposure to tax risks, in Morocco and in the countries where the JESA Group operates or should operate in the future.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Guarantee reliability, confidentiality and a fair image when processing accounting and tax operations.
Responsible for compliance with legal obligations in terms of CGNC and Moroccan taxation.
Exercise permanent monitoring of accounting, tax and legal news.
Respect for the confidentiality of the information processed.
Ensure that the Group is aligned with the tax provisions in force in Morocco.
Ensure the Group's tax compliance with local tax provisions in the places where JESA currently operates or plans to operate in the future (in Africa or elsewhere).
Ensure contact and manage information exchange with the tax administration and be the first contact and tax advisor in tax audits.
Study transfer pricing issues between the companies of the group.
Examination of tax declarations and related payments, for all JESA legal entities (VAT, IR, RS, ...)
Identify and minimize exposure to tax risks, in Morocco and in the countries where JESA operates or should operate in the future.
Management of the relationship with the tax administration, the exchange office, the other organizations and consultants and external advisers.
Do a tax watch and prepare due diligence with the Business development teams, then provide management support on tax risks and their impact on the Group's financial statements.
Perform simulations with project managers on the tax impact of implementing JESA in other countries.
Establish a situation of the tax specificities of each country where JESA intends to operate and identify the impact of the non-existence of tax treaties between Morocco and the other countries (Tax residence, Permanent establishment, etc.).
Help Management choose the type of structure to develop internationally (Branch, Subsidiary, etc.) taking into account tax and legal constraints.
Actively educate managers and relevant staff on tax issues.
Manage VAT reimbursement, liaison with consultants on filling and follow up with local administration.

Minimum of 8 years of experience as a tax consultant in international companies or as a tax consultant in one of the large reputable tax firms (example the Big 4)
