Job Purpose
A Senior Procurement manager's job description includes Developing and implementing the Procurement Process for newly acquired businesses in terms of safety, performance, timeline, and costs. Managing PPMs and Buyers and Reporting to the Director of Procurement.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Ensure effective monitoring of procurement activities in line with Project requirements and according to procedures and the policy of JESA
Partner with key stakeholders to define, create and deploy the purchasing strategy for new projects: objectives, resources capabilities (HR, budget, etc.)
Track and report key functional metrics to follow up on the project and improve effectiveness.
Establish Work Instructions and assist with a cross-functional team to develop and implement JESA Procurement process
Ensure that contracted suppliers deliver work/goods/services to meet duration and quality targets, addressing and ensuring appropriate actions of under-performance issues
Animate and communicate with Project Procurement Managers
Establish strong relationships across JESA Departments and other Worley offices ensuring all projects and timelines were met and communications channels opened.
Collect and share best practices focused on lessons learned acquired in previous or similar projects.
Evolve JESA's purchasing policy and processes in line with business requirements, technological innovations, macroeconomic data, local and international regulations, …
Ensure the application and respect of the different rules and conditions set in terms of HSE.
Ensure a technological watch in his field of expertise to have a good knowledge of existing and future technologies
