Internship @ Howdy Code is a carefully designed way for college students (and juniors) to gain the skills and hands-on experience they need to be successful in their careers and reflects actively on what they are learning throughout the experience.
This Howdy Code internship program is designed to launch your career as a digital marketing strategist. You’ll work on real-world projects. You can’t learn this stuff in a classroom.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of design projects
Work within modern WordPress site builders to design page layouts and templates
Develop and maintain consistent branding
Implement and optimize WordPress plugins to enhance site functionality
Deploy designs in a variety of hosting environments
Select and prepare creative assets, including imagery and text content
Perform website and competitor analysis using various SEO tools
Research and analyze keyword strategies
Write meta tags and effective calls-to-action
Optimize and publish content to client sites through WordPress.
Execute link building and link profile management activities including opening accounts, webmaster outreach, relationship building, etc.
Advocate for SEO, ORM and Content Marketing Best Practices
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards
Keep abreast of the latest algorithm changes, SEO tools, and techniques
