Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels.
They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Tasks and responsibilities
Analyze the plants capacities for the mid-to long term horizon (Rough Cut Capacity Planning RCCP) based on the consensus forecast
Identify capacity bottlenecks within the monthly S&OP cycle and the daily work collaboration with the local departments (Planning, Manufacturing, Sales etc.)
Analyze inventories, collaborate with local departments and ensure inventory is tracking to Business Unit and segment targets.
Coordinate with Engineering and manufacturing plant teams to support launch and sustaining Engineering projects within the EMEA region
Support the monthly S&OP plant supply review meetings
Drive and track the action plan from the S&OP plant supply reviews
Support the plant(s) decision making process for tool and machine investments (Duplications, replacements
Ensure that the S&OP architecture is used appropriately for the supply planning process
Closely collaborate with other functions (Planning, Manufacturing, Demand Management, Engineering, etc) to ensure that assigned or requested tasks are accomplished
Collaborate with global customers & global counterparts to analyze & improve the end-to-end supply chain proces
Identify strategic supply chain projects
Monitor & report on supply chain KPI’s, drive actions to close any gaps
Undertake other tasks and duties that are within the capability of the individual

Advanced knowledge in the use of SAP and Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
Fluent in English both written and spoken, local Language is a plus
Good experience in SAP is a must
