Position overview:
Our new Tool & Equipment Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the needed equipment for the cutting and LP area, coordinating and collaborating with central Engineering to implement the innovation project and participating in the plant KPI improvement
Additional duties will include (but may not be limited to):
Define and ensure the needed equipment for cutting & LP.
Install and validate the equipment needed according to the project milestones.
Communication with suppliers and Lear Central Engineering regarding existing and future equipment.
Follow equipment tagging.
Participate effectively in Continuous improvement activities.
Participate to improve plant KPIs: FTP, Efficiency, OEE ….
Comply with the safety and environmental rules established in the plant.
Actively participate in compliance and monitoring of the IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
To be a success in this role you must have:
Technical study degree.
Good Knowledge of project milestones.
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Good knowledge of the purchasing process.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools.
Minimum 5 years experience working in equipment or maintenance department in the wiring industry.
Intermediate level of English language.
Willingness to work in a dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical skills
French/English: Advanced Level.
