Team
The IMEAR (Indirect, Middle East & Africa) region is the department within Global Enterprise Networks which is responsible for end to end ownership of network infrastructure planning, deployment, and management in a technical & financial dimension.
We manage carriers and collaborate with regional teams (Sourcing, Business Unit, CS&O) and entities to design, plan and deploy regional network to guarantee optimal quality of service and maximize both profitability and competitiveness.
We are a ‘HYBRID’ team, with a very unique mixture of technical, business and financial responsibilities operating in an AGILE environment driven by empowerment, autonomy, experimentation, transparency, cooperation, adaptation, and flexibility.
This position
Transformation Manager within IMEAR region reporting to the Head of Region.
This role requires in depth data analysis, strong technical expertise, transversal management, direction, regional strategy definition, coordination and evaluation of projects and reporting.
Accountabilities:
Manage and own programmes/projects to improve the global cost to revenue ratio in line with the target set for the group
Implement, track, and report on transversal Business Improvement Initiatives – Consult internally and help transform business problems into solutions
Busines management :
Act as an internal consultant on network related initiatives (network transformation, new POPs, POP Closures, EOL, IGNoOTI, etc..)
Orchestrate, track, and report on transversal Business Improvement Initiatives to achieve budget ambitions & contribute to achievement of cost to revenue ratio targets.
Coordinate & drive the technological transformation of the data/voice networks from legacy to modern technology platforms in IMEAR region
Maintain overall control of IMEAR project priorities and our financial performance (GM, C/R ratio, etc..)
Define ODC strategy with all stakeholders (Sourcing, OGSB, CS&O, IB, … )
Monitor savings plan for the region as submitted in the budget
Lead budget preparation for the region(access, domestic backbone, shared access, colocation, sites)
Put in place, direct and facilitate regular reviews with all stakeholders CS&O, OGSB, IB,Sales, Sourcing, Finance, Legal/Regulatory etc.. to review competitiveness, portfolio, footprint, POPs,data centers, providers,etc
REFM point of contact
SPOC to support Sales in region and improve the relation with them
Entity closure management
Study and implement possible assets and operations transfer to affiliates
Manage IMEAR Plazza
Support clusters and Sourcing and replicating best practices between clusters
Regional support & WoW:
Manage red flags and escalations
Lead Tools improvement initiatives
Put in place knowledge transfer and sharing between different teams
Assess and report to the management the training needs in the region
Ensure all projects and activities they follow our standard guidelines and methodology (Business Case, Financial Plan, Naomi Projects, Business Reviews, RFPs, Renewals, Migrations, etc..)
Support and adapt any ERS model
Strategy management :
Support clusters with Site Strategy (REFM sites & Colocations) in the region
eNGINE expert to define optimization strategy with GCP & NSP and Space optimization in DC between IGN/OTI/CDN =)
votre profil
University Degree in a specialization or Telecommunications, Business and/or Engineering
Strong technical and business acumen/skills particularly telecom platforms & industry knowledge. Power and infrastructure expert
Language skills:
Fluent English required, both spoken and written
Fluent French is a desirable (not mandatory)
Fluent Arabic is a bonus (not mandatory)
Software Skills:
Strong computer literacy & proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic scripting/data manipulation/BI skills are desirable (not mandatory)
Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies are desirable
Coding experience in Big Data environment (e.g. Python) are desirable (not mandatory)
Essential skills and knowledge
Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT vertical
Very agile with data crunching and analysis, business case building as well as budgeting, forecasting, and working with financial data
Stellar communication skills, flexible, agile, adaptable with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn/explore/develop new skills
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
Ability to operate with autonomy and in a virtual team environment
Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
Understanding of Orange Business Services products and/or circuit provisioning tools (e.g. SESAM, OPAS, GINI, and FILEADE) is a plus
