Within the NEST (Network Engineering, Strategy and Transformation) department, INSIDE (Infrastructures, Networks, ServIces Development & Engineering) aims to sustain Enterprise and International Wholesale Business growth in developing and supporting customer end-to-end infrastructure and services.
The INSIDE Department oversees:
The engineering of the French and International corporate networks
Engineering of the OpenTransit Internet network
Engineering of network infrastructure platforms (validation, non-regression tests, sizing, ...)
Network services engineering
SDN/NFV infrastructure engineering
PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE:
Within the INSIDE Department, you will assist a team of SDN/NFV experts. You will take part in the implementation of a secure infrastructure as a service offer based on Openstack and Contrail as well as in the maintenance in operational condition of our Lab infrastructure used by several dozens of internal and external actors.
You will take an important part in the network design and the overall integration of the services hosted in this infrastructure, to allow their deployment in our orchestration systems.
Work with the existing development team on the definition and exposure of IaaS APIs.
Design network architecture to host Virtualized Network Functions (FW, SSL GW, etc…) on our infrastructure.
Modelize service in the form of deployment template so they can be orchestrated.
Automate tests of the integrated services in our automation framework.
Participation in the writing of the documentation allowing the exploitation of this infrastructure.
Participate in the design of a new virtualization infrastructure based on Kubernetes.
Deployment and maintenance in operational condition of our lab representing over 100 servers.

votre profil
Experience in OpenStack deployment and operation, (RedHat OpenStack Platform would be a plus)
Expertise in virtualization (KVM, Contrail)
Experience in Kubernetes (deployment and administration)
Strong networking knowledge (BGP with advanced routing mechanism, IP v4/v6) (CCNP or equivalent is expected)
Good writing skills
The following skills would be a plus:
System skills: Linux, Ansible, ...
Programming skills: Shell, Python, REST API...
Personal skills:
Ability to work in team and cross-functional projects, in a complex organization with different activities and multi-cultural environment (Europe, North America, Egypt, India…).
Team spirit (you will work with other engineers based in France and will share lab resources)
Technical driven: ability to acquire quickly technical information
Must be curious, 'investigation' minded
Autonomy & Flexibility as evolving in a changing environment
Good synthesis skills (Both written and oral)
Result driven, customer-centric approach.
