Job Title: Car Leader (Plant Engineering Coordinator)

We are in position to offer a great job opportunity to work as Car Leader (Plant Engineering Coordinator), based in Quimistan, Santa Barbara, Honduras (E-Systems Division).
As Car Leader you will have the opportunity to ensure the correct implementation of Engineering systems in the Plants and/or programs under your responsibility through the effective Administration of the Engineering manual.
Your Task will be:
• Coordination of Engineering Changes with zero impact on additional costs. (Airfreight/ Line Stoppages/ materials problems/ OBS/ LeadPrep validations).
• Launches of new production lines with efficiencies > 100% and installed capacity > 115%.
• Ensure the correct administration and closing of tooling/equipment purchase orders to support prototype phases, pilots, engineering changes and/or production improvements.
• Communicate, distribute and implement the “Best Practices” & “Lessons Learned” for each new release and/or engineering change.
• 100% compliance with shipments of prototype and pilot phases for new programs and/or new model years.
• Effective leadership and coordination of weekly follow-up meetings with the multidisciplinary team.
• Involvement in the company's CTO cost reduction programs as well as continuous improvement projects.
• Support to plants in identifying and solving problems.
• Ensure that all planning activities of the multidisciplinary team are carried out in a timely manner, according to the engineering change management controls.
• 100% compliance with the procedures of the Engineering department.
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Education: Industrial, Mechanic, Electric and Mechatronics Engineer or any related field.
• At least 2 year of experience in Lear Corporation and experience as Lead Methods or Lead Product, or 2 years of experience as Engineering Supervisor in Automotive Industry, and previous experience of 3 years as Product or Methods Engineer.
• Advanced English (Conversational).
• You should have great analytical skills, to be creative/ innovative, to have initiative, to be persistent and open to criticism and others' ideas.
• Capacity of analysis, communication, and leadership skills.
