Job Purpose
Provides technical guidance and team supervision on projects by directing project activities for smaller to large projects. Accountable for the timely delivery of project deliverables with quality. Supports the discipline in team development activities.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Business Development Support:
Assists business development on proposal submission activities such as review proposals and submit man-hour estimates, staffing plan, scope definition, assumptions/exclusions.
Business Operations:
Ensures resources available adequately during the project work.
Develops and enforces standard operating procedures to ensure quality and productivity.
Ensures discipline technical work meet all HSE and regulatory requirements.
Ensures project procedures and guidelines are followed.
Use of sizing, calculation, and Engineering software's (Hydra, Calculation spreadsheet, Aspen plus, AutoCAD, SPPID, etc.,)
Develops value to the client by optimizing the design
Analyzes and implement project scope changes in a timely manner
Technical Competency:
Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted Good Engineering Practices (GEP), regulatory requirements, statutory code requirements.
Serves as a technical consultant for the team.
Provides guidance to other Process Engineers when required.
Assists in HAZOP studies.
Knowledge and understanding of API codes.
Performs other administrative tasks as requested by the Manager.

Project Execution:
Acts as Process lead for the project and provides information and support on process engineering deliverables.
Well versed in managing the scope and schedule.
Supports other disciplines.
Supports inter-discipline reviews.
Project Deliverables:
Produces deliverables of high quality and accuracy meeting project requirements and within budgeted timeline;
Ensures technical issues are identified, recorded, identifies solutions, and agrees with the solution.
Reviews, checks, and approves engineering deliverables.
Procurement Support:
Supports other disciplines on requisitions.
Technical Bid Evaluation for packages (process part).
Supports in issuing Issue for Purchase (IFP) datasheet.
Site Support:
Supports field assignments and field walk-downs as required
Education
Awarded as minimum 4 years technical degree in engineering recognized by the state
