VOS MISSIONS AU QUOTIDIEN
As a Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will be:
• Undertake control reviews on the suite of Compliance Trade Surveillance controls covering EMEA market activities as defined by the RACR roadmap
• Working alongside Trade Surveillance colleagues in Paris, London and Casablanca, review the logic, parameters, regulatory risk coverage and performance of the controls under review to identify enhancements to apply
• In collaboration with Paris and colleagues across the globe, enhance the control review process to ensure it is able to identify anomalies in SG’s Trade surveillance controls and help implement any identified remediation
• Working with Trade Surveillance colleagues, design and assist in the development of new controls
• Document all control reviews in line with procedures and in an auditable way
ET SI C’ÉTAIT VOUS ?
Technical experience:
• 0-5 years relevant experience or qualifications
• Fluent in French and English
• A generalist understanding of how private and public sides of the Financial Industry operate would be advantageous
• Highly analytical approach in regard to performed surveillance, supported by accurate record keeping and ability to manage and prioritise multiple review requirements.
• Respect for highly sensitive information
• Good report writing, verbal and presentation skills
Other skills:
• A keenness to work in a regulatory risk management department
• A keen interest and good understanding of existing and new technology
• A quick learner – keen to understand regulation, markets, financial products, trading strategies and internal/external technology solutions
• A team player
• Someone with an innovative mindset – who can think ‘outside of the box’ but collectively, understands standard BAU

CMS has a specific mandate relating to monitoring and surveillance of market activities.
