Your missions:
• Calculate engineering changes (ECRs) @cost level & @price Level: Analysis, implementation, and calculation.
• Focusing on maximizing OI improvement, and minimizing OI degradation, on every ECR processed.
• Communicate Cost Return of ECRs according to sales recommendation (SVFM standard or conventional)
• Track all engineering changes and provide daily report to C&P team.
• Provide timely service for C&P team, Sales, Operations, Program Mgmt Engineering, and Leadership teams.
• Support operations and finance groups in implementing OI improvement Ideas.
• Develop new initiative to improve C&P Process & Tools.
• Calculate Gross Margin and analysis with actual Data
• Budget Preparation: collect information from Plants (Europe/Africa) and consolidate data.
• Tracking CTO Ideas: Calculation / Implementation to Validation and Booking.
• Copper-Metals Market analysis: Tracking the copper weight in each component by analyzing different sources (Purchasing / MDS, SEM,…)
• Price List: Track price list for Component & Finish good.
• Participate in Meetings with C&P team & different departments (Lead unit (UK), Sales, Purchasing, and Plant engineering…).
To be successful in this role:
• Engineer, Bac + 5 (New graduate)
• Ability to work with main Engineering tools
• Ability to analyze and/or develop the technical documents received (Bill of Materials, Labor minutes report, Cut sheet, Insulation report and Drawing)
• Advanced Excel skills for Data analysis and statistic
• Advanced Skills in Excel & VBA (Excel Macros)
• Willing to develop financial skills and learn key financial concepts (Cost, Price, OI, APR).
• Results oriented to obtain and develop solutions, Commitment to achieving results within due dates, Responsible, Team player
Language Skills:
• Good communication skills in French and English, Spanish/Deutsch will be an asset.
