YOUR WORK LIFE OPPORTUNITY:
The way we want to grow is making every city profitable. To reach this goal we need a 360, analytical and results driven person to manage our Finance function in the country. We are in a startup where the time to market is a crucial factor, so we want a problem-solver person with hands-on attitude.
BE A PART OF A TEAM WHERE YOU WILL:
Oversee the day-to-day accounting processes maintaining proper books of accounts for effective financial control in accordance with corporate standards and local statutory requirements;
Complete assigned accounting activities to support the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes
Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes;
Prepare periodic financial and management reports in accordance with IFRS and report to direct manager;
Monitor inventory levels and assist in the management of stock depreciation;
Review, control and validate timely tax declarations as per country laws and regulations;
Develop general accounting practices, standardize accounting schedules and implement quality review processes;
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts in coordination with internal stakeholders;
Work with external and internal auditors and assist with the required information and documentation as appropriate;
YOU HAVE:
A solid academic background, preferably with a university higher degree in Business Administration or related field: Finance, Business, Economics or other Accounting
5 years of proven working experience in Audit or Accounting
Experience working with Local GAAP
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
Excellent MS Excel skills
Team player and good vibes
Multi-tasker
An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
English skills is a must
