Role Purpose
Ensures TR coordination and governance within the country cluster on the wide range of Total Rewards policies, processes and delivery framework. Acts as linking pin between the Regional TR Lead EMEA and the local HR communities in the country cluster for TR topics. Acts as first point of contact for all TR related topics within the country cluster. Within the country cluster incumbent supports the local management in the resolution of local TR issues, in the interaction with appropriate employee representatives and collaborates with HRBPs and local HR operations as appropriate and necessary to assure a sound local HR service delivery. Leads or contributes in projects related to the Total Rewards field.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
// This role provides ongoing Total Rewards expertise, guidance, and support to the local HR communities in the country cluster.
// Job holder is familiar both with Bayer standard relevant TR processes and the local needs, demands and specificities.
// Implementation, coordination and governance of all country cluster compensation and benefit policies and processes, both local and global, to ensure a market competitive remuneration package based on business needs.
// Support of the HR Cross-border workforce team regarding managing expatriate remuneration, benefits and terms and conditions wherever appropriate in the country clusters.
// Analysing, understanding & overseeing the Total Rewards landscape in the country clusters.
// Engages in and drives regional TR activities beyond the own country cluster, to increase overall efficiency and support in the EMEA region.
// Contributes to TR projects and programs or leads parts of TR projects and programs.
// Acts as focal point for internal audits and appropriate local regulatory authorities within the country cluster.
// Supports M&A processes and steers harmonization of Total Rewards plans & procedures.
// Drives agile ways of working in his/her area of responsibility.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
// At least 5 years relevant work experience in TR
// Graduate university degree
// Extensive knowledge of North Africa and West Central African markets
// Strong and proven TR knowledge as well as project- & change management skills, with understanding of the competitive and future-looking landscape in her/his field.
// Successfully dealing with ambiguity & complexity to deliver results in projects with cross-functional & multicultural teams.
// Demonstrating strong collaborative skills and behavior: connecting, co-creating, inspiring, driving and engaging others
