What you'll be doing :
The main mission of the Marketing Category Lead is to lead and develop the marketing portfolio & activities within Avon Morocco by promoting Avon categories and main products, launching the campaigns locally, analyzing the results in details and executing effective internal and external communication plans.
The main objective is to lead Avon Categories’ to maximize market penetration and develop categories’ & products’ portfolio in alignment with the market.
Key responsibilities :
Building and supporting portfolio & categories’ development :
Lead the products and categories to maximize market penetration.
Develop portfolio content ,in collaboration with Turkey team, to ensure the right market fit
Contribute to setup an effective pricing approach by category and a clear positioning by product.
Provide product intelligence knowledge and provide insights regarding our customers and representatives while being a force of proposition in generating new ideas to address our portfolio gaps
Contribute to digital & E-commerce strategy execution in collaboration with communication and digital lead.
Participate to a transversal projects.
Ensuring successful campaign execution
Ensure proper campaign implementation along with trade, Communication, Digital Lead, supply & planning team.
Lead and ensure the monthly brochure preparation & execution :
Campaign SOL analysis & brochure correction (translation, offers…) within the regional deadlines
Ensure the right pricing approach per campaign
Make the balance between the offers and growth margin based on historical data - Estimation and proposition to the region regarding offers and number of units
Coordination with Supply Chain for the brochures’ and materials’ shipment & dispatch
Financials analysis by offer, categories, campaign, quarter …
Ensure the daily, weekly and monthly follow up per campaign.
Ensure a communication internally (Sales & Field Force) and externally (Representatives & Customers ).
Ensure products, categories and campaign training all over morocco.
We'd love you to have :
Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
A master’s degree in sales, Marketing or related field
work experience of minimum 3 years, is required
Experience with design and development of materials
Marketing experience advantageous
Field knowledge and experience required
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
MS Office
Advanced excel and powerpoint
Negotiation, agency relationship management
Ability to conceptualize, develop and implement field strategies
Creative and or PR experience useful
Problem solving skills
Fluent in English
