Job Purpose
Intermediate level position following defined processes and precedents to complete assigned tasks with increasing independence specific to mechanical engineering. Prepares design layouts and drawings in line with standards and clients' needs with advice and under supervision. With increasing independence, utilizes relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry-standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Business Development Support:
Assists business development activities by maintaining an up to date personal profile and resume database.
Business Operations:
Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences & be responsible for a smooth handover.
Follows instructions to ensure discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Accomplishes department activities as assigned by the Department Head.
Technical Competency:
Can apply generally accepted engineering and mechanical design codes and standards, regulatory requirements, ASME, ANSI, API, ISO, DIN, CEMA, etc. And customer specifications to the drawings that he produces.
Has knowledge of and compliance with requirements and JESA internal processes.
Supports the processes for checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
Can detect discrepancies in connected drawings and documents
Understands & applies SOP'S, work instructions, checklists, standard specifications & design basis during the execution of projects.
Able to use 3D modeling software

Project Execution:
Working under close supervision, knows the discipline scope/cost/time requirements, assists the team to meet expectations.
Needs to fill timesheets on time.
Project Deliverables:
Preparation of Mechanical guide drawings and detailed drawings for Tanks, Pressure Vessels, and Conveyors under partial supervision.
Preparation of Mechanical equipment layouts plans and sections, material handing schemes under close supervision.
Review interfaces with Vendor documents under partial supervision.
Develop 3D models of equipment under partial supervision.

Bachelor, technician
