Orange International Networks Infrastructures & Services (OINIS) is a technical division, serving Orange group on international aspects. With around 1700 high skilled employees around the world, OINIS is a major player in the world of networks, infrastructure, and security.
OINIS’s mission is to design, deploy and run international and long-distance networks, as well as IT infrastructures of the Orange group.
Joining OINIS means evolving in an international, multicultural, and technological environment. This rich environment will give you opportunities to grow, you will learn from our teams’ experiences and us from yours.
OINIS aims to become a key player in the evolution of the network and services and to offer our customers a unique experience:
· The Business market (via Orange Business: OB): with the design, deployment and supervision of international terrestrial, submarine, and satellite networks
· The international voice and data wholesale market
· Orange subsidiaries with their interconnection needs.
Within the NEST (Network Engineering, Strategy and Transformation) department, INSIDE (Infrastructures, Networks, ServIces Development & Engineering) aims to sustain Enterprise and International Wholesale Business growth in developing and supporting customer end-to-end infrastructure and services. It is composed of 5 teams, each with specific line of business, but common way of working.
Within INSIDE department, the SDN infra team is mainly in charge of studying and delivering virtualized services for French and International customers. In this context, you will assist a team of SDN/NFV experts. You will take part in the implementation of a secure infrastructure as a service offer based on OpenStack and/or Kubernetes with a part of physical router orchestration.
In this context, the team need to model several services (L3VPN, L2VPN, switch aggregation…) & develop modules to be able to automate service production and configuration (creation, deletion & modification of such service). Team is based in France.
Within the INSIDE Department,
A transverse team, responsible for service modeling, has been created with engineers from all the 5 INSIDE teams.

System: Linux (advanced enough to administrate Linux systems)
Cloud IT culture e.g., virtualization, containers
Knowledge of Docker is real +
A first practical experience in Agile mode project would be a real +
Strong technical interest for IP networking subjects (understand the service or function is mandatory to automate or model it the right way!)
Network protocols basic knowledge: TCP/IP, addressing, routing (ISIS, MP-BGP…), MPLS VPN concept.
