We are recruiting for our Partner who is one of the leaders in the manufacturing industry, a Plant Manager who will represent the company in Morocco.

Main responsibilities
Ensure a ‘safety first' culture and workplace exists
To profitably grow the business and achieve Business Unit, Division and Corporate goals monthly, quarterly and annually.
Responsible for managing all aspects of safety, quality, delivery and cost.
Establishes and maintains premier customer service.
Leads strategy deployment for the operation concentrating on Lean Initiatives and profitable growth
Broad responsibility and leadership for the day-to-day management of the entire location
Ensures the operation has adequate inventory, production control scheduling, shipping/receiving logistics
Develops a budget plan and manages operation within budget constraint
Drives a culture of accountability and results through strategy deployment and effective performance management
Developing a dedicated multi skilled team to achieve world class manufacturing standards.
Ensure customer and company targets are achieved and improved.
Maintains quality standards in order to achieve customer and IATF requirements.
Responsible for managing the daily efforts of production personnel for maximum effectiveness and customer service.
Supports, drives and implements lean initiatives for continuous improvement.
Implementing initiatives to maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements and provide premier customer service
Develop a technically qualified work force, reduce operating costs, inventories and lead times through continuous improvements
Supports/implements all required lean kanbans or comparable inventory management programs to reduce material outage potentials.
Communicates with manufacturing engineering and inventory control personnel regarding process changes, NPI and methods for improving assembly efficiencies, productivity, and customer service in the plant.
Schedules production to meet customer services demands as measured by inventory, days supply, on time delivery and production throughput.
Profile requirements
Graduate from an Engineering School or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a Plant Manager or Operations Director position.
Experienced in automotive manufacturing/production.
Experience working in a multi-national organisation.
Experienced leader who can demonstrate a leadership approach based on empowerment.
Skilled in Lean and Lean deployment.
Strong financial & business acumen.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to include the ability to influence and persuade at all levels within the organisation; build trust and confidence; and establish credibility.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative either alone or as part of a team working to strict
timescales.
