The CTIO department is in charge of decision-making information systems, serving Orange Business in different lines of business such as marketing, pre-sales, sales, production, after-sales services, and customer service for both France and international domains.
In this context, the Orange Reporting and Analytics (ORA) system is the new digital reporting solution for Orange Business Services customers. This application is developed following SAFe framework bringing advanced analytical features to go beyond the historical contractual reporting features which used to be provided by the customers’ service managers. This will add more value and meet the customers’ expectations regarding what is to be reported, the look & feel, accuracy of the report, report availability, and reliability.
In an Agile context the Product owner is required to undertake the following responsibilities:
Manage backlog for ORA INTL, collect & analyze business requirements from business owners.
Translate business requirements to understandable user stories as input to development process.
Prioritize backlog to balance between business ambition and development capacity
The Product Owner owns the product knowledge (The current features, the latest product updates, and the product evolution plan. He/she shall participate in setting the product strategy and controls the product backlog.
Product owner is the gateway between the business stakeholders (project managers, technology consultants, pre-sales consultants, product managers, etc.) and the scrum team
Business & Technical evaluation of product development and changes requirements
Understanding and anticipating the business needs to more effectively manage the development process
Trigger technical requirements as enablers to business needs
Lead technical & business scope definition of Interfaces between different platforms
Accountable for design simplification and scalability
Collect new product development requirements, qualify and prioritize them.
Act as key member of IT (Scrum team) Create USs story, guide Design and Development teams to understand the needs and prioritize USs
Features prioritization and backlog management for future PIP.
Act as the main link between key stakeholders to harmonize decision making
Accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. They take a primary role in inspecting and evaluating product progress through each iteration.
The product owner makes the judgment call on the performance, and gives go ahead between process phases.
Contribution in product capacity management, change and release management, quality assurance
Communication management for platform major and minor changes with customer & Impacted users.
Work with product manager to set the product strategy and future vision
Contribute to Knowledge Management Systems, product and service launch information and case studies.
Interlock with product team regarding roadmap fine-tuning and potential product extensions.
Accountable on operations and CSMs training for ORA INTL.
Participate in Bid support process including pricing for standard requirements.
Participate in new requests for new functionality and coordinate the evaluation of implementation alternatives mainly in the context of TTM or agile projects.
Align with the business on development team pipeline (Backlog, releases and sprints) to avoid planning conflicts.
Agrees with the scrum team about the done definition on the level of the story, sprint and release.
Clearly communicate the scope and the Goal of the release to the scrum team.

Knowledge and abilities
Experienced in SDLC, SAFe, Scrum
Experience using Jira and confluence
Service Management experience
Consulting experience
Thorough knowledge of IP technologies, devices, services, protocols, and applications
Experience or ability to perform design activities in a wide range of products and services
Knowledge of Orange Business Services products and solutions
Deal with unclear scope and new products
Manage critical discussions between business and technical stakeholders
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Customer facing skills with demonstrable experience
Time management skills and able to balance tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Independent self-starter
Education, qualifications, and certifications
B.Sc in Communication or Computer Engineering
ITIL certified
SAFe POPM certified
Excellent in both spoken and written English
Fluent in French is highly appreciated
Experience
7 - 10 years of experience in software development activities
3 -5 of experience as Product owner.
