About the role:
Responsible for the implementation and follow up of new programs in the plant.
Coordinate programs follow up with the design engineer team and other departments in the plant.
Responsible for the construction of samples and prototypes, as well as for their rating with the Customer, and for coordinating the new components and their HPO with the Purchase and Quality Dep.
Applies and launches the approved programs for cost reduction through product or technology improvement in the installations, as well as in the processes, machines, and tools, taking responsibility for the achievement of the productivity improvement plans assigned to him
Responsible for the Factory times of the product or Customer assigned to him, as well as for APD Times, taking the lead of the control, as well as of the efficiency calculations and the generated times.
Responsible for detecting, launching and developing tooling, means and / or machinery, processes aiming at the optimization and improvement of production, as well as sharing them with any other Plant through the "Best Practices" System.
Weekly summarizes his project's situation, as well as his parameters and the improvement plans.
Responsible for keeping up the company's norms in his responsibility area,
Takes personal responsibility for keeping himself, co-workers, and equipment free of hazards.
Participates in saving energy and proposes suggestions to control it.
Capacity Analysis & product development capacity analysis
Ensure the conformance of products and processes according to IATF, Customer specific requirements, and regulatory requirements
Learns the rules; understands them; follows them, and participates in the energy, environment, safety and health program (e.g. planned inspections; energy, environment, safety and health suggestions; energy, environment, safety and health management systems, etc.).
Reports all incidents, accidents and unsafe conditions and acts to supervisors or uses the system set up to facilitate reporting.
To be successful in this role:
Engineering degree
At least 6 years of experience in an automotive environment
3 years of required experience in industrial project management as a project leader
PMP certification is a huge plus
Fluency in English
Good technical skills, Project Management
MS Project, CI trainings, EHS trainings,
