Main missions:
Works closely with the Program Team to establish and set-up manufacturing planning& milestones
Define the resources needed for the new project in coordination with cross functional team
Ensure launch activities are within budgetary targets
Organize, moderate and conduct the projects meeting internal/external
Through coordination and liaison with the plant management team, responsible for all manufacturing, quality, technical, logistics and maintenance functions on site to support launch activities.
Work with different cross functional groups to reach a common goal
Manage risk factors for the project and take proactive countermeasures, draw up the necessary action plans with all functions and implement the required actions in a timely manner.
Report progress of the project thru weekly launch standard
Coordinates & supports materials management for all pre-builds and Launch, supporting materials team
Establish and maintain effective customer working relationships in order to develop positive partnership in the continuous growth and development of the business.
Key skills and qualifications:
Engineering degree or equivalent
5 years of experience in the automotive industry with expertise in the "Seating" area or knowledge in the areas of trim and its components plastics, foam, fabrics, and leather is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure, persuasiveness, sociability, ability to work in a team, independent, detailed, and analytical way of working
Good organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong oral and written communication skills: English/French
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs with the ability to create presentations and present to customers and upper management
