Job Purpose
As a member of the Risk Management Department, the Project Risk Manager is responsible for leading and managing risks and opportunities across complex projects, and Programs to drive improvements in risk identification, assessment, reporting, and mitigation, in accordance with JESA management standards, and international best Practices.
Working closely with operations, Client teams, and 3rd Party organizations, the Project Risk Manager is responsible for planning and implementing appropriate risk management control strategy together with report preparation and presentation as needed.
The Project Risk Manager will also be involved in new Opportunities Risk analysis, when required, provide needed support to growth teams and operations, identify special risks, and ensures that the Risk management process is implemented at the pre-award stage.
in addition to his duties, the Project Risk Manager can support the Enterprise Risk Management process with needed inputs, and participate in the identification process.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of JESA risk management philosophy & Policy, EMS standard and process, the universe, and manual for JESA Group, across projects and programs.
Support Projects in the risk Classification process, and track the completeness and implementation of needed projects.
Ensure that risk classification for assigned projects / Programs is up to date.
Ensure that projects are implementing appropriate risk management plans and coordinate with quality assurance for the global assurance plans. Taking into consideration customer requirements.
Facilitate Type 1, and Type 2 risk workshops, and issue the risk register to attendees, Pre-award, and during project execution.
Provide needed reporting on risk status and overall risk management process for the assigned projects / Programs.
Issue Monthly Risk dashboards for Projects and Programs.
Support implementation of type 3 risk assessment when required, and provide needed clarifications on the quantification of risks to the project team.
Ensure that all functions in the project are using the EMS standards in their risk management activities (HSE, Project control, SEAL ...)
Update in a timely manner the risk registers and related reporting.
Periodically track defined controls and action plans, related to identified risks, to implementation, for Projects & programs.
Participate in Ad-Hoc missions as requested by the Head of Risk Management.
Support the risk management team in the Enterprise Risk Management Process.
