Job Purpose
Engineering, implementing, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information. Identifying and defining system security requirements. Designs computer security architecture and developing detailed cybersecurity designs.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Develops, maintains, and publishes IT security policies, standards, procedures and guidelines for enterprise computing platforms
Conducts security reviews and risks assessments
Responds to and handles security-related incidents appropriately, This is mainly 2nd level support and can go up to 3rd level
Develops and promotes IT security awareness programs
Researches evaluates, designs, tests, recommends and plans implementation of new or improved information security software or devices
Monitoring networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions
Education
Engineering Degree
Curricula: Computers sciences- Security and Network fields
Global Experience
3 years minimum
Specific Experience in the position
1-2 years minimum
Expertise in anti-virus software, intrusion detection, firewalls, and content filtering
Technical skills to solve existing production security issues
Application security and encryption technologies
Secure network architectures
Proxy (antivirus / URL Filtering / report) and reverse proxy
Good knowledge in WAF (Web Application Firewall) and Security, mainly Paloalto, Fortinet, F5, Cisco, Proofpoint
