Job Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will prepare financial statements, verify financial records and transactions, oversee audits, and develop paperwork for regulatory reporting. Responsible for accounting operations within its scope. In charge of applying legal obligations in accounting and tax matters. Responsible for booking accounting entries, producing the company's financial statements, ensuring proper application of accounting standards.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Ensures the accuracy of all accounts payable, receivables and other accounting documents.
Perform, review, and analyze complex accounting and fiscal activities in order to ensure compliance with the policies of the company as well as the statutory laws on taxation.
Coordinate and/or perform daily accounts payable accounting activities.
Maintain the accuracy of general company ledgers and analyzing accounts.
Review and post accounts receivable, deposits, miscellaneous expenses, and other financial-related receipts and documents.
Prepare monthly journal entries and adjusting entries as needed.
Gather and maintain documents related to accounts payable and receivable, assets and liabilities, and financial transactions
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income accounts to the general ledger on a monthly basis.
Assist with the annual preparation of worksheet analysis and financial analysis.
Manage general ledger and assist month-end and year-end close processes
Supervise accounting department, junior employees, and accounting assistants
Assist with audits and taxes
Prepare financial statements and regulatory reporting documents
Education
Bac +3 to a Bac +5
Curricula: Finance & Accounting
Global Experience
3 to 6 Years
Specific Experience in the position
Experience in the same position is desirable, especially in a multinational company.
Good level in English is preferable
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
