Job Purpose
The Senior Buyer is responsible to provide procurement support on indirect needs, materials and services for the corporate, including the preparation and negotiation of purchase orders and contracts according to the Home Office purchasing work instruction and corporate policies.
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Provides procurement support services to various departments across the Corporate
Performs the Sourcing, prequalification of suppliers and service providers
Produces RFQs, competitive bids, bid evaluations, and purchase orders utilizing Corporate tools (Ariba, SAP)
Selects and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries, and services with suppliers and service providers
Generates purchase orders and Contracts and ensure they are approved by management
Conducts Framework agreements for repetitive purchases
Acts as a liaison between suppliers and involved departments to resolve procurement-related problems
Maintains and/or improve performance indicators
Performs assigned duties in a safe manner according to HSE and company policies
Liaises with legal and finance and/or other internal departments when needed to ensure compliance with company policies, or solve any vendor claims or dispute
Performs other related duties as required
Education
Bac +4/5
Curricula: Business Administration, Engineering, Master degree in Supply Chain Management
Global Experience
Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience
Specific Experience in the position
7+ years of proven purchasing experience including sourcing, capital purchasing, contract development and negotiations.
Experience with SAP and ARIBA preferred
