Job Purpose
Takes the responsibility for all supply chain tasks in accordance with the requirements as laid down in the specific proposal/project. With Procurement, Defines and negotiates the best P.O / contract conditions (type of contract, capabilities, quality, resources, price…).
Main Scope/Responsibilities
Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing, standards, regulations, or laws.
Develop or implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
Develop, in cooperation with the Procurement Department Head, P.O / contract bidders’ lists of qualified contractors / Suppliers for the proposal/project and reviews same with the Proposal/Project Manager and Construction Manager.
Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting
Education
Bac +4/5 with a university degree
Curricula: Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
Global Experience
12 years experience with a broad knowledge of progress measurement systems and related payment conditions
Specific Experience in the position
4 years previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager
Sound knowledge of contract / P.O terms & conditions
Good understanding of legal aspects of contracting & P.O
Good understanding of insurance aspects of contracting & P.O
Good understanding and application of JESA procedures.
