Position Description:
The Sourcing Lead possesses in-depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing methodologies, leveraging best practices across all areas of procurement and on a global scale. He/She is an expert responsible for executing sourcing projects, both IT and Non-IT, and at a global and local level. With excellent negotiation and contracting skills and the ability to communicate procurement recommendations to the internal clients, including higher hierarchy levels, up to executives.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Internal Client Relationship
•Gain business support for sourcing projects through high quality presentations
•Build relationships with key stakeholders, VPs and support functions (Security, Data Privacy, Legal, etc.)
Service Delivery
•Lead sourcing projects and facilitate involvement of other support functions following established methodology to support business objectives and add value
•Organize/lead negotiations and contract preparation per the Global Procurement Sourcing Methodology
Operations Management
•Update Preferred Supplier information and project tracking system continuously
•Input into the continuous improvement of the Global Procurement function
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must have a proven record of accomplishment and be able to demonstrate the following:

REQUIREMENTS
•5-7 + years of demonstrated proficiency in category management, procurement strategy, sourcing, contract, vendor and stakeholder management, with both strong IT and non-IT category experience
•The candidate should be based in Canada or United States.
•Occasional traveling may be required
•Part of a Global organization reporting to a Director located in Canada
•Servicing various stakeholders and business sponsors located in many geographies in different time zones.
•Experience in a global company, negotiating global deals with global suppliers on pricing, business terms and conditions as well as risk mitigation.
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant domain
•Proficient in English verbal, written and communication skills; more than 1 language is an asset, especially French
•Finance knowledge to understand financials of a contract
•Proficient in Microsoft suite applications
•Knowledge of procurement system – Oracle PSA Eproc (an asset)
•Project Management Methodology skills
