The objective of the Supply Chain Coordinator is to work as a key member of the Supply chain team to provide support in assuring that overall supply chain objectives are carried out to meet company requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management & SIOP Lead
Optimize plant logistics (outbound/ inbound) incorporating all required functions
Lead weekly SIOP meeting including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Materials Management, and Production Planning
Serve as “problem solver and escalation point” to balance customer and plant requirements between functional leads
Share documentation of SIOP practices with plants across Lear network
Further develop current SIOP processes on plant level and drive necessary changes including definition and coordination of respective IT requirements
Monitor and assess implementation progress
Teach plant on SIOP concepts, tools, and metrics
Logistics Controller
Prepare weekly SIOP meeting and ensure availability of key input documents, output documents and meeting minutes
Maintain SIOP action log and coordinate improvement actions both operational (weekly basis according to SIOP meeting sequence) and on strategic level
Collect, process, and maintain key logistics metrics under supervision of Logistics Control and SIOP Lead
Provide required data and analyses for functional leads
Support and coordinate SIOP improvement initiatives under SIOP lead supervision
Demand Planning Lead
Ensure delivery performance to external and internal customers
Work with customers on deviations and define solutions for optimum customer delivery
Measure customer forecast accuracy (overall/ customer specific) and define areas/ customers that need to be improved
Lead improvement initiatives for Frozen Zone Enforcement with customers
Supply Planning Lead
Ensure on-hand supply for production requirements
Coordinate on-time release of required supply of production material
Lead team of provisioners
Measure supplier delivery performance and work with suppliers to improve lead time and supplier delivery performance
Measure supply release accuracy
Work with plant and central team to optimize supply strategy (MOQ, lead time, packaging sizes, supplier selection, …)
Work with suppliers in case of shortages or delivery limitations and derive and implement countermeasures
Production Planning Lead
Work with Customer Management, Supply Management and Materials Management to balance production masterplan regarding customer and internal requirements/ limitations
Maintain perspective of optimized utilization/ OEE while balancing production masterplan with customer requirements
Work with production to improve efficiency.
Materials Management Lead
Balance and optimize inventory levels for RM/WIP/FG
Lead WIPLOG office, warehouse supervisors, Kanban coordinator and Inventory Controller
Define, further develop, and assess key metrics for materials management
Lead key improvement initiatives for inventory optimization, including PFEP process.
Profile:
High degree in logistics/ purchasing.
4 years’ Experience within supply chain.
Excellent organizational, numeracy and analytical skills.
A high level of individual initiative, planning and good judgment.
Language Skills: Highly effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French.
